GIAN PRIMO GIARDI WAS CONFIRMED PRESIDENT OF SAN MARINO NOC

San Marino sport movement elected the Executive Committee for the next four year term 2022-2024.

Gian Primo Giardi was confirmed President by unanimous vote: he will lead the sammarinese sport movement through the important challenges of the next three years and the international events that will culminate with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Christian Forcellini was confirmed Vice-President, while Eros Bologna Secretary General.

Emanuele Vannucci (golf), Stefano Valentino Piva (tabletennis) and Marco Giancarlo Rossini (swimming) were elected members of the executive committee while Luciano Scarponi and Giuliano Tomassini external members.

During the assembly, President Giardi expressed the San Marino NOC’s will to give support to Ukraine athletes and children who have arrived in the country. The firsts will have the possibility to continue their training, while the seconds will have the opportunity to practice some sport. For this purpose, he asked for the Federations’ help.
